A pneumatic suspension (Airride) consists of air cushions and appropriate shock absorbers that have been developed and adapted to the respective vehicle model.Standard steel springs are replaced by suitable air bellows. Air flows in the individual shock absorbers are controlled by electronically operated solenoid valves. Air supply is regulated via an air tank that is filled/emptied by a compressor.
